Haunted Gingerbread House
Small and Simple Prayers
I kneel to pray, every day.
I speak to Heavenly Father.
He hears and answers me
When I pray in faith.
I begin by saying "Dear Heavenly Father"
I thank him for blessings he sends;
Then humbly I ask him for things that I need,
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Our family has been able to see the lord answer our small and simple prayers over the past weeks.
Alicia lost her wedding ring and had NO idea where it could be. After looking in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom saddened with no luck. I decided to pray, I even called the gym to see if they found it.
After just waiting some time, my mind became filled with thoughts of what I did that day.
I ended up going and cleaning out the car. There was a empty toys r us bag that did have a monkey in it. I pulled out the monkey to show Henry. The Bag was empty so I went to throw it out... and right before I threw the bag away my eye was drawn to the bottom and there was my ring.
Crazy!!!! I thanked the Lord for a helping me find my ring and giving me peace. I have never had a prayer answered so fast, it was very humbling and I felt the lord was there for me.
Hunter's sweet prayer.....
Our sweet Hunter was looking for his Bow. He came in and told me that he couldn't find it and that he looked ALL OVER the yard. I took this opportunity to practice prayer with our little man.
He knelt down and asked Heavenly Father to help him. Then he counted to 20 and headed back outside. With confidence and excitement he walked around all over again. But this time he came back with a HUGE SMILE on his face and a BOW around his neck.
It was a perfect lesson to teach him about prayer. He did thank Heavenly Father and we got to share about the Holy Ghost soft promting with him also. Teaching him that he couldn't find it on his own but after prayer he was lead to a place he didn't look the first time.
I'm grateful for the tools from our Father in Heaven to guide and teach these little children that we are so blessed to have in our families.

Spooky Pumpkin
My deal for the day! $35.00 Table
O.k. So I have been wanting a smaller table for our family. We have a beautiful 9 piece dinning room table that we use. I just wanted something a little smaller, more cozy, something we can do homework on, crafts, play games, you name it.
So I had a vision in my mind what I wanted. And then, last week I spotted it!!!
I was driving by this cute shop in Archer on the way to take Hunter to school and I spotted this table. $35.00 dollars. Really only $35. SOLD!!! I loaded it up in my SUV and brought it home.
Then I was in our storage shed and spotted 3 black chairs... are you kidding me! Does it get any better than this!?!? They were chairs that Steve had from when his dealship was open. They were just sitting in storage... Oh but NOT anymore! I found a cozy spot in the kitchen for them.
I was pretty excited.
My vision for this cute little area in my kitchen will almost be complete!
Now look at the picture and visualize a BLACK BENCH against the large window. That will give us the perfect amount of seating for your family. Especially once Henry grows out of the high chair. My friend Lauren gave me two bench's that I'm going to make just one out of it, that is my next project. I have to clean it up some and paint it black.
Once it is all done, I will have to post again. But for now... I love my $35.00 dollar table and free discovered black chairs. Love it!!
Gator Homecoming 2010
We went with the Towers and Booher Families. We had the perfect spot, it was great weather and we all had our GATOR spirit ready to cheer. Actually a certain "SEMINOLE FAN" was not to happy at all the "GATOR NOISE"! (Those where Hunter's exact words) He said "mommy I want to go home, I'm tired of hearing all this gator noise". I hate the Gators. NICE!!! He sure is a die hard seminole.
It was a nice relaxing afternoon. Picnic lunch, friends and great weather! What more could you ask for.

My Cravings...
Really is this kid 5!!!!
He also learned to ride a bike in 1 day, he just took off... He learned to tie his shoes all by himself when he was just passed his 5th birthday. I know I was NEVER like this. (Don't get me wrong.. it makes me crazy all the stunts he does, and the way he has no fear and so much confidence....)
Oh but yes, I'm a pretty proud momma!
Puzzle Time
I was cleaning Henry's room this morning and I looked over, only to find this.....
He had climbed right up on his little chair, sat down, and started playing with his puzzles. Of course more puzzle pieces found there way to the floor. (come on that is much more fun to watch the lion & truck, etc... spiral to the ground).
As soon as I got the camera, he had smiles to share. Oh, this kid gets cuter by the minute.
