Some of Alicia's Fav's..

Pumpkin pie!!! There is nothing better than smelling a pumpkin pie baking in the oven. I totally stocked up on canned pumpkin for the holiday season... anybody have any really good recipes to share!?!?!? Ingrid I heard you made a yummy pumpkin cookie... do share??!!

PEANUT M&M's!!! I just can't get enough of them. I seriously have eaten almost a WHOLE Bag. They are addictive!!!

My sister Emily and me talk just about every day and one day I told her I couldn't get my hard water stain out of the toilet..(we have well water). So she told me to go get "the works" and let me tell ya IT WORKS! It is AWESOME. You have to be careful not to get it on your skin AT ALL. It is a strong chemical but it sure works. Toilet is clean and white.

Hair.... what to do, what to do?!?!

O.k. if any of you know me... I like to change things.. it is time to get a new much needed hair style. My hair is thick and gets out of style easy. I have appt next week and I wanted some suggestions... whatcha think. Here are some hair styles that match a "Heart Shape Face".

This is my favorite....but I want to keep my length also... soooo....

Bangs or no bangs.... ????<

Now this hair style is about the length of mine now.. maybe a little bit shorter.. but it looks kinda layered.

Girls Night..... Chop Stix Asian Resturant

It is always nice to get out with the girls and talk, laugh and have a good time. we watched the movie "ghost of girlfriend past"... I could look at Matthew M... all night long, he is my movie star crush. Steve took the kids to a friends house and they had pizza and went swimming. Everyone in our family had a fun night out.

I couldn't resist catching Lauren with her food and chopsticks.

Ahhh to be a kid.....

Hunter, Millie and Joseph had a blast playing, making tents in the living room and dressing up as characters. Our family just adores the Lowry kids, and what fun times our kids have together. It is so neat to see there creativity come to life.

Fire Safety Fun Festival

Hunter's school friends.. part of the costume contest.
Hunter got to go in the firetruck with his new FREE bike helmet.

Mommies fun time with the boys. I just adore my little buzz Lightyear... Not sure what Henry will be for Halloween.
Hunter wanted the clowns to paint a spider on his face. They taught him to go to a safe place if there is a fire in the house.. (mailbox)
Duck toss.. he won some coloring pages. It was so funny later that night I found one of the ducks in this trick or treat bag... I think we have a little sticky fingers here.. we took the duck back. :)
Costume contest.. it was so cute seeing all the kids dressed up.

Hunter LOVED turning the lights on in the state troopers car. It was the highlight of the night.
Scary Face!!!!

Dudley Farm

Alicia and the kids had a fun saturday, exploring Dudley Farm. It was fun to feel the history of the family. Walk into there home, kitchen, see where they did laundry.. and check out there transporation... I tell ya I'm greatful for my washer, dryer, dishwasher, and AC...not to mention my vehicle. So many things to be grateful for. We also meet up with some friends and the kids got to explore together. The quilt show was beautiful, such talented people. It was a fun day.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this park demonstrates the evolution of Florida farming from the 1850s to the mid-1940s-through three generations of the Dudley family. An authentic working farm, the homestead consists of eighteen buildings, including the family farmhouse with original furnishings, an 1880s kitchen outbuilding, a general store and post office, and a functional cane syrup complex. Park staff in period clothing perform daily chores, raising crops, and tending to livestock. The farm features seasonal cane grindings, corn shuckings, and heritage varieties of livestock and plants. Deer, wild turkeys, gopher tortoises, and bluebirds are still seen in the fields.
