I was cleaning Hunter's room, when I noticed the house was way to quiet.... I went looking around the house for Hunter and I found him in our closet.... IRONING... his shirt. (in his socks and underwear- the perfect bachelor) He said he wanted his shirt to be warm. I about freaked out because he could be burned or not to mentioning he shouldn't be plugging in the iron. After a nice talk with Hunter he understood only ADULTS iron. I do have say thou he is the most independent child I have EVER met. Give him a couple years and he will be doing his own laundry!!

It's A BOY!!!!!

Steve and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby boy... The doctor was stumped thou because it took awhile to really find out... the baby wouldn't open its legs. Man this kid is very private. Hunter was spread eagle when we did his but this baby is making us work hard to find out. So now we are on to baby BOY names since we thought it was a girl we almost had narrowed it down so here we go again. To tell you the truth Alicia was shocked when the doctor said it was a boy... she is still trying to shift gears from thinking is it was a girl which is what the tech told us.... ( I hope we don't have any Surprises when we deliver) :) We are excited for Hunter to have a little brother.

A great monday!!
I find myself complaining sometimes that I
forget the good days. SOOO I wanted to blog about a GREAT MONDAY that I had with my son and family.
I woke up to seeing my sweet sons face telling me he made his bed and turned off his night light.. that is his goal in school so he was so proud.
We read books, watched cartoons together and then Steve took him to get breakfast... while I got a nice hot long shower, got to put makeup on without any little person in the room. It was great.
Then Hunter and mommy went to the museum and enjoyed exploring thru the caves, seeing the fossils, big sharks and watching my son's excitement was so rewarding and made me so grateful. I just watched him and followed while he soaked up all the new things.
Later we went to my old office (that I worked at for 8 yrs) so it was nice to see all my old friends. And of course they just ate up Hunter and his charming personality. As we were driving away he said "mom that was fun". I told him I was glad and that I loved him and he said no mom I LOVE YOU! My heart melted... it was so sweet.
On to the house for lunch.. he was easy just wanted oatmeal.. works for me... and then nap time. Oh yes I got him to take a nap. He slept in mommy and daddy's bed for a good 3 hours while mommy took a short nap and then got to day dream about the babies room. Surfing the net and relaxing.
Hunter woke up ready to ride his 4-wheeler so off we went outside and after a few minutes daddy came home. It's always fun when daddy come home. Mommy started the laundry and then off I go in to make dinner while the boys play outside, I get to play my music and cook with no interruptions. It was great!
For FHE we made Valentine cards to mail to Granny White who is on a misson in California and Uncle Jason who is serving a mission in Peru. (that is the picture). We read BOM stories with him and off to bed for Hunter. Steve and I got to play cards. It was nice to be able to have some quiet fun time with my hubby.
It was such a great Monday!!! No crying, timeouts, frustrations, it was just great to be a mommy today. I loved it and i'm greatful for the monday I had.
Day dreaming about the babies room......so many fun ideas!
