Our Little Sunbeam

We can't belive our once "baby" is such a "big boy" and is going to be a Sunbeam in church on Sunday. He loved his nursery friends and teachers and we are excited for him to start primary as a Sunbeam! Our ward has amazing leaders in Primary what a great program.

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
To shine for Him each day;
In every way try to please Him,
At home, at school, at play.

A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam;
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I'll be a sunbeam for Him.

Jesus wants me to be loving,
And kind to all I see;
Showing how pleasant and happy
His little one can be.

I will ask Jesus to help me,
To keep my heart from sin;
Ever reflecting His goodness,
And always shine for Him.

I'll be a sunbeam for Jesus;
I can if I but try;
Serving Him moment by moment,
Then live with Him on high.

A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam;
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I'll be a sunbeam for Him.

Steve and Alicia are expecting a ............

Well friends and family we wish we could tell you what we were expecting but our little baby wouldn't uncross it's legs. SOOOOOOO it is still a mystery! The doctor did say that the baby is very ACTIVE and we will have our hands full with this one, she said she was just chasing the baby with the wond trying to get the details. The baby was laying across my belly, just hangin out. We did see the babies face profile and it had the same heart shape as Hunter that was pretty cool to see. We will keep you posted!! Hopefully they will be able to find out at my next appt. :) Our tentive scheduled c-section is May 12.... oh my goodness it will be here before we know it.

Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008 has come and gone... what fun special times we had. Alicia's sisters Bethany and Emily came into town with there families for christmas. We took fun family pictures, sang christmas songs, rode 4-wheelers, ate lots of yummy food and shared a special christmas together. It was fun to see the cousins play, make cookies for santa and even put out food for santa's reindeer. Christmas morning was crazy with toys and smiles, lots of excitement! Hunter hit the jackpot with a new 4-wheeler from "Santa". Every time he asks to ride it he reminds us that santa brought it to him.. so we just leave it at that. The cousins got fun little kittens, moving dogs, and jocelyn loved her camera and doll stroller. It was really a dream land for kids. We had a blessed christmas and are greatful that our family could spend it with the Nunez and Blackwelder family.

Hunter was sooooo excited when he saw his 4-wheeler and has riden EVERY day since christmas. It was so funny when Steve let him ride it for the first time... Hunter took off and Steve had to chase after him it was hilarious. Needless to say we monitor him very closly. (YES he has a helmet that fits him it just isn't in this picture...) :) What a happy boy!!

Hunter's Christmas Program At School

Hunter's class at Joy School did a play for some patients at a alzhimers home. They acted out the nativity story and sang them songs. Afterwards the kids handed out homemade cards. It was sweet to see the kids singing and how the peoples faces lite up as they sang. We also had a class party at Mrs. Angela's home and the kids acted out the play and songs again. Hunter is the little boy in blue (wise man). Steve and I were so proud to hear Hunter sing so loud and see his smiles. Thanks Mrs. Angela and Mrs. Lisa it was a great program and perfect for the holidays... Hunter just loves going to joy school.
