Chucky Cheese Here we come!!!!

Lacy, Keri, Regi and Alicia Loaded the 5 kids up and off we went to Ocala to spend the morning at Chucky Cheese. You should have seen there eyes when we walked in, all the lights, music and oh my goodness Hunter spotted the MONSTER TRUCK right away. It was so much fun watching the kids play. They went from ride to ride... and THEN they realized you needed token to make things move. So then all I heard was I need more money mommy. We caught Millie dancing a couple of times and the boys enjoyed the basketball hoop. We ended the afternoon with pizza and salad for lunch. It was a fun day and I'm so glad to be able to make these special memories with Hunter and friends.

A Laughter filled day with Lacy

Me and Lacy find ourselves just laughing at each other and the way our boys hear us talk and just IGNORE US... we just had to laugh and I think that is half of the joy of being a mom that we can laugh at ourselves. Just knowing we are doing the best as we can as moms and make up for the rest later. I love talking to Lacy and we have fun when we take the kids out. Today was a good day.. We went to the butterfly exhibit and the museum. Afterwards we had a picnic lunch and the kids did great.

The boy's really enjoyed chasing after the butterfly's. Hunter thou didn't want them to be near him, when they came close to his face he moved almost as if he was afraid of them biting him. A butterfly landed on Millie's shoe and she looked at it for a second and then wanted it off. Lacy was really the only one that a butterfly would stay on her hand. It was a neat experience to go and see all the butterfly's.

Our New Church Callings

Alicia was called as the new Young Womans Secretary... apparently the old YW President passed on the word that I was real organized and so we wanted me for sure. It is nice to back with the Young Woman's program. Steve on the other hand thought he was free from a calling until they pulled him aside and met with him. His new calling is 1st counsler in the Elders Quorum. It is nice to be needed and be able to serve others. Steve is cool with being able to work with Joe Lowry who is the Elders Quorum president. Happy Days Ahead!

A New Calling in Church... WHAT WILL IT BE?!?!

Steve and I have been in Gainesville 3rd ward since we were married. We have had several callings of service in the church. Steve has been YM President, Sunday School President and also a counsler in Sunday School. With all of those callings comes the call on the answering machine... "Sister White can you come in and bring your husband", Those calls are scary. I have been able to serve in the RS on the Home Family and Personal Enrichment team, The Gospel Doctrine Teacher (that was a tough one, but I learned alot) Then I got a call wanting me to come in.. I thought well shoot what could this call be about.. to my excitement ... they called me to be the 1st counsler in Young Womans... it was a breath of much needed fresh air. I really enjoyed it untill about 2 weeks ago, Steve and I found out we where moved to another ward. So now we are in Gainesville 2nd ward.... and as you can imagine I got the call again.... "Sister White can you come in early on Sunday so we can meet with you"... well we will just see what plans the lord has for me.
(maybe magizine rep... :) LOL :) :)

A Wet Weekend!!

Since we were so water logged because of "FAY" most of the fun activities that we USUALLY do OUTSIDE made it in the living room. Steve and Hunter played SOCCER and FOOTBALL - the ceiling fan got hit several times... Hunter has a fast right arm.. :) Once the rain let up for an hour or so we all went 4-wheeling. It was fun just hanging out as a family.

A New Way..

I was given great news last week.... After being diagnosed with Thryoid cancer 2 years ago, 2 doses of radiation/hospization and lots of crazy emotions.. my doctor told me that the cancer has shrunk to like a millimeter.. YAHOOO.. that is great! It didn't spread, it is just getting smaller. So Steve and I decided to research and have a new way of eating healthy to kick that one little millimeter spot gone... I have been loving this "New" way of eating and living. Lots of veggies, good fruit, fish, almonds... I love almonds. (Gotta stay away from the processed sugars - you know the real good stuff - LOL)... And I'm surrounded by lots of positive people.. I have already lost 4 big whoppin pounds... in a week in a half. Yeah!! So Dinner tonight is Tilapia Fillet with blackbeans mixed with tomatoes on rice or on the side(I didn't have any rice) & a side of broccoli. It smelled so good in the house cooking the fish and veggies. Anyone have any good fish receipes... Enjoy! I'm excited to continue on this Healthy path.. excercising and eating right. Any one wanna meet me at the gym?

Jen's and Travis Wedding....ahh to be a bridesmaid.

Jennifer and Travis got married in the Orlando Temple Friday night and afterwards the bridemaids went to dinner.. cheesecake factory and shopping... can't beat a fun filled day. Then Saturday afternoon was off to Lake Butler where Jen's family lives for a reception. It was a nice wedding, you could just feel the love between the bride and groom and there familes. Everyone looked amazing, we made new friends and it was the end to a perfect day.

Kristin, Alicia and Courtney got Jen all ready for her wedding night.... and many happy nights to come with a fun girls lingerie party. Travis her hubby to be was happy with all of her gifts. ;)

The girls celebrating Jen's upcoming wedding with dinner and fun gifts.
My adorable & handsome husband Steve hanging out while the reception was going to start. If was kinda weird having a "date" that night...the groomsmen where really cool. We laughed more than anything trying to get the rehersal down and not falling on our faces infront of everyone. LOL

The bridesmaids being silly...

Jen was a BEAUTIFUL Bride. I'm so excited and greatful to be part of this special time in her life.

A REALLY GREAT MONDAY!

My day was amazingly GREAT! It started with my hubby letting me sleep till 9AM! That is huge... and then Hunter and I just hung out at the house playing with his new toys, no where to go or be just having fun. I enjoyed laughing and tickling Hunter and we even organized his toys in his room. There was not frustration just laughter and happiness. Oh and then we went bug catching that was a sight in its self to see a grown woman trying to catch a bug... I hate bugs. So you can only imagine.. go ahead and laugh......Then Hunter took a 3 hour nap wow that was a change for me so I got to organize the magazine basket, throw stuff away and catch up on emails. I enjoyed reading an article in the ensign about living a balanced life, wow that was an eye opener. Later that afternoon we went to get a hair cut for Hunter and the place was closed so we ended up going to a "barber" for the first time.. it was neat they treated him like the big boys. He was the life of the party, the men all thought he was funny. They laughed at his little remarks. Then off to the gym for us... Hunter went to the Kid zone play area and I hit the treadmill. How refreshing it felt when I got done. Our final stop that night was publix (had to get some healthy food) need to loose those extra pounds before the wedding i'm in. ;). Anyways to finish the fun day off while we were leaving Publix I handed Hunter a banana and he put it right up to his ear and said "hello daddy, whatcha doing" he was pretending to talk to his daddy on the banana phone... It was priceless. I just laughed so hard I had a smile on my face the whole way home. I have to thank the lord for a fun day with my little guy. No worries, frustrations, timeouts, tears (me or him) It really made me appreciate the little guy that he is and his fun personality. We laughed and played and I'm greatful for this special day.

I'm a Big Boy Now - Hunter's 3rd Birthday Bash!

Hunter LOVED his Monster Truck Cupcakes... All week Hunter would tell people it was his birthday and he was Three, while he help his 3 fingers up and then he would tell them he was having a monster party with CUPCAKES!!! So you can imagine he checked out his cupcakes all day after we picked it up from publix. I loved to see his expression and joy.

Alicia and Emily had fun decorating the house while Hunter and Jocelyn took a nap. He loved all the balloons and was so excited about the big monster truck pinata on the table. It was so fun to see Hunter get so excited.... Thanks Emily for all of your help!

When Hunter went to sleep the night before his birthday Alicia decorated his room with balloons on the fan. So when he woke up this is what he found. He was so excited and loved it. ... it felt like christmas morning for me cause I just wanted to see him when he woke up... what a fun time. :)

I loved this banner !! It is going to go in his room for some fun monster truck times.

Hunter's party friend... Travis, Maggie, Jackson, Joseph, HUNTER, Molly, Ashlyn, Jocelyn and Gordon. They had a blast.... we ordered PIZZA!

Mommy Madness - out numbered by kids!

Lacy, Glady's and I joked about having a nice relaxing afternoon with our 6 kids combined... is there such thing as relaxing with 6 kids, splashing, jumping, throwing and catching kids... in the pool It really was fun hanging out with Lacy. We got to watch girlie movies, eat yummy food, and try to get our kids to take naps. Our best night was when ALL the kids went down at the same time. LOL. Gladys came over one night and we just chatted and watch sense and sensibility.... What neat woman they are and they are so fun to talk to, we laughed alot . Lacy had fun things to do, we went to the park, walked to see shops, we did crafts, played monster trucks and celebrated Joseph's birthday. What a fun 4 days. THANKS LACY IT WAS A FUN MEMORY.

Marco Island Beach trip with Lacy- What a blast!!!

The City Park - the kids had so much fun playing in the water and making the ball float in the fountain.

Hunter loved to play in the fort playground, running thru the maze. Check out the outfit... Hunter picked it out... He was just not matching that day. :)

This was the view from the condo... OH MY GOSH IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. We were on the 15th floor so we could see so many different angles and the sunset was beautiful. It was heaven to wake up each morning and see the beautiful ocean, calm and crisp. We even got to see a couple lighting storms. I love to see storms over the ocean.

Lacy is such an amazing mom with patience and joy for her calling as a mother of these 2 beautiful children. You can just see from her face that she is such a proud mom. I loved our chats and girl time... it was fun to spend time with them.

Some fun beach time with Hunter.... mommy and Hunter went looking for shells one evening. There was a nice breeze and I felt so calm and peaceful and was greatful for this time with my son.

Hunter loved to play in the pool much better than the ocean, the salt water seemed to bother him. He did enjoy making his boat float in the ocean.

Crazy kids having fun... Emily came down for the day with Jocelyn she fit right in with all the kids. They had a great time playing.... Oh nice finger in the nose Hunter... LOL :) Glady's and her family where also there. Glady's and Joe (mom and Dad) where both there, Hunter called them granny and papa, he just made them part of the family. Hunter and I had such a great time spending time with the Lowry's. They are an amazing family.

The boys playing football on the beach...
