Alicia's 34th Birthday Fun!

I had a great 34th Birthday! I loved all the "love and attention" special phone calls from friends & family, a beach bag full of goodies (hat, wrap, sunscreen, & yummy snacks... oh yeah the bag was endless, it had so much fun stuff... I loved it, Thanks Lauren you are awesome! Lacy treated me to dinner out the day before, what a fun girls night... and then I was off to the beach to see my amazing friend Celeste. We had fun hanging out and having some girl time. Celeste totally hooked me up while I was there with fun, food and girl time. Not to mention chocolate! YUM! When I got home what a great surprise I had waiting in the mail from hot stuff Heidi, she sent me the Brooke White cd and a cute card.... loved the cd, thanks girl! Steve was the best husband ever and he surprised me with the bed spread that I wanted, of course I stayed up late setting it up :). Lauren the bestfriend in the whole world watched Hunter that night and Steve and I got to go to dinner and he took me to get some new fun clothes ... thanks to my mother in law for the birthday money...:). I just have to say I had a great birthday and I loved all the sweet calls, cards and special things people did for me.... I so looking forward to a new year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Hunter our little swimmer w/ his "Mrs. Warren" (Lauren)

I was a little nervous (yet excited, for a new chance for him to swim) last year Hunter was not interested in the pool, he did not like his lessons last year at all. Lauren gave us total comfort and a garantee that he would be swimming. SHE WAS AWESOME! Hunter only cried the first 2 days out of 2 weeks, by the 3rd day he was excited, confident, and worked so hard. Lauren loved & nurtured our little guy and he just loves her. He was excited to put on his little wetsuit and flippers(the kids looked so dang cute in them). Hunter told anyone that would listen what he did each day! He was just beaming with joy and excitement to share his accomplishments. He loved "Mrs.Warren" as he calls her. I would ask him how does he save himself if he falls in the water... he would tell me "Mrs. Warren said reach up high(and he would put his arm up high)and get that wall", he always said it with determination. It really was so adorable. Hunter now jumps in the water by himself and swims back to the wall. He even jumped off the diving board and went down the slide at the swimming lesson. Steve and I can't thank Lauren enough for teaching Hunter the skills of swimming, he trusted Lauren and Hunter is now having so much FUN! What a "water" filled summer we have ahead. Thanks Lauren, you were the best instructor in the world!!!!

Monkey See Monkey Do

Hunter is king of the world up on top of the table...

What a bad example Hunter is for the dogs...the dog got right on top of the table as soon as Hunter got down.

No Fear!! Hunter will jump off of ANYTHING! What a tough boy! I'm so seeing a broken leg.

Officially Crazy Country!!!

All I know is that it ALL started with DOGS!! Steve wanted dogs... so we got dogs(2 matter of fact) We have always been able to look out our front door and see HORSES (neighbors of course- which is just fine. It is actually beautiful to see them in the field when the sun is going down. BUT NOW when I open the garage door oh yeah you guessed it... COWS... (the neighbors also - thank goodness) But if you notice there are 3 of them.. Steve keeps adding to the number of animals in our yard. Steve is big buddies with the neighbor so they are just keeping the cows on our land... but hellooooo they our in the yard!!! Cows in our yard...can you believe it! The cows are actually going to have calves... so that might be interesting to see... oh my gosh did I really just type that.... Helpppp i'm turning into Old McDonalds Farm.....

Our Family's Memorial Day

We started our day out with Steve 4-wheeling with a buddy, giving hugs and kisses to Auntie Emily, Uncle Eli and Jocelyn and sending them on there way safely after a fun filled weekend. It was nice being able to have "FAMILY" time together, Steve got to see Hunter in his swim lessons for the 1st time (he is doing great) and Hunter was excited to show daddy that he could kick, swim and save himself. We then went home and ALL took naps, it was great. Finally after all the much needed relaxation we wanted to really remember what this day was about and think about the solders that have served our country and continue to. Giving us a day, week or years of freedom to be able to have a FAMILY day! So we went as a family to our daugther Haley's grave and Hunter gave her some flowers. It was so peaceful and calm to see ALL the AMERCIAN FLAGS they had all over the cemetary. (hunter snagged one.. but we DID put it back) We ended up going to the mall having somemore fun family time. As we looked around the mall everyone was so happy and just doing there own thing. WOW to have freedom to come and go without fear is such a great gift and blessing. Our hearts were full of gratitude for this country and the amazing men and women that serve. Happy Memorial Day to you,.... someone sent me this prayer for the solders and there families, I hope you can feel that same gratitude for our country. 'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

New Pictures Just in.. Hunters' 1st Monster Jam Truck Show!

Hunter was so excited to go see the monster trucks, when we got there all he would do it check things out.. looking at all the monster trucks and then he spotted the 4-wheelers and of course wanted to RIDE THEM. When the show started he was pretty startled by the engines and held tight to mommy and daddy. We covered his ears cause it was loud but he enjoyed watching it. He would say "oh no they crashed" whenever they would do a big jump. After about 30 mins he was ready to go.. he kept telling us "I want to go home" and then we would say o.k. lets say bye to the monster trucks and he wanted to stay... we stayed for about an hour and then headed home. As for Steve and I.. well I thought it was kinda boring..to be honest I was hoping for some serious jumping & crash em up show.. oh well. The demolition durby was funny thou.. it was a fun night just cause we were together as a family! :)

Redneck Kid

I'm so raising a redneck kid. I totally was cool with Hunter being outside all day, riding his 4-wheeler, even wanting to sit on the tractor or drive the lawn mower but now..... Hunter wants to go pee pee outside and watch monster trucks on Utube.... What is going on in the white house?!!?! Which leads us to.... our next family outing. We are going to "Monster Jam" in Ocala Friday. We haven't told him yet for fear of him asking a million times when do we get to go. I just have to laugh. What a boy! (Pictures to come soon of our family adventure... Steve said it will be a site to see for me) LOL
