We started our day out with Steve 4-wheeling with a buddy, giving hugs and kisses to Auntie Emily, Uncle Eli and Jocelyn and sending them on there way safely after a fun filled weekend. It was nice being able to have "FAMILY" time together, Steve got to see Hunter in his swim lessons for the 1st time (he is doing great) and Hunter was excited to show daddy that he could kick, swim and save himself. We then went home and ALL took naps, it was great. Finally after all the much needed relaxation we wanted to really remember what this day was about and think about the solders that have served our country and continue to. Giving us a day, week or years of freedom to be able to have a FAMILY day! So we went as a family to our daugther Haley's grave and Hunter gave her some flowers. It was so peaceful and calm to see ALL the AMERCIAN FLAGS they had all over the cemetary. (hunter snagged one.. but we DID put it back) We ended up going to the mall having somemore fun family time. As we looked around the mall everyone was so happy and just doing there own thing. WOW to have freedom to come and go without fear is such a great gift and blessing. Our hearts were full of gratitude for this country and the amazing men and women that serve. Happy Memorial Day to you,.... someone sent me this prayer for the solders and there families, I hope you can feel that same gratitude for our country. 'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

Alicia,
I loved reading about your week. The Miller twins are getting so big. What a great family. And I loved those tents Hunter and Emily made. Those are the best.
What a wonderful day yesterday for you. It sounds like you really enjoyed family time and rememering Hailer and loved ones. Thanks for the smiles.
